And to close our work...
And to close our work and as we already know the importance of chemestry in our daily life and why chemestry needs a periodic table we decide to built our own... As it seams a dificult task for us, because we are still young, we ask for help to the olders students in order to build a periodic table with old cofee botles that we bring to school after use all the coffe. And our famelys were amazing, for they all bougth the same coffe for a long period of time until we have 110 empty botles. After that our older friends put the chemical substances inside the bottles and the atrt teacher and students built the base for the table. And here it is...
This periodic table is in the school of our older friends(since 10 to 15 years old, because they really studdy chemestry and so they need to it lots of times.
This was a great project that was developed along 3 school years and envolved lot of students, since kindergarten to university, lots of teachers and that children will never forget. Who knows what is going to born from here... I dear to dream and I almost daer to say that some of these children will be very productive in cience... This is the prize for envolving then since young ages...
Yes ir true. Etwinning chage our lives!
10 good reasons to chose chemestry...
Chemestry is still all arround us and, even if the project finish we will never forget it. This is the good thing about etwinnning projects: They change you for ever. So, this is something we find and, after discussion we decid that it is really true!~

Periodic table
We still go on speaking about chemestry, for they really are interested in science and some of them keep on saying that when they grow up they want to be like Marie Currie and work in a lab. M This is the case of Mariana five years old. Since the day that we had a chemestry lab in our classroom she keep on saying that she will work in a lab to find new medicine for people.
In order to make us know a little bit more about chemestry, Professor Carlos Borges send ud lots of materials and experiences that we could do in our classroom. He alsospeak about the "Periodic Table" A substance organizer that classifies substances by there phisics and Chemestry properties. So, since that day, and with the help of the parents, we begin to be more attentive to the subject and look for specials periodic tables. And, belive it or not, we found some. One of them we find in the entrance of the building of Chemestry in the university of Lisbon. It is a giant periodic table. Do you want to see it?
Onother one was made in Australia, by a group of artists and was sent by a Dear friend of us, Drª Teresa Pombo. Here it is. Amazing, isn´t it?
As soon as we find onother we will share it with you!
See you soon
Maria and little stars
